living with TV and electric fireplace.

Hey guys,

I am moving into a new build home and I want to have TV and electric fireplace recessed into the wall. Instead of digging a hole in the wall I was thinking of adding a fake wall (i don't know what to call it) but it is kinda like a chimney breast.

here are 2 pictures of what I am talking about. I need your help to work out the rough cost of something like this and who I would contact?

i'll pick up the TV soon and the electric fireplace when I know more about this.

Thanks @Adam floating wall it is saw the avforums post. Need to find someone or company who will do it for me.

@coupe69 I agree some what but i'd like to have a electric fireplace. So when I am not watching the TV I can just relax with the fireplace on.
