Seen a few of these CRT monitors on the bay lately and just wondering how people rate them? If they are any good ill go for one as tft just doesnt quite float my boat (or my pocket!)

Their logo is a bit difficult to read, people often seem to call them Liyama, but it's actually iiyama. Like most companies they do cheap budget models, decent mid range models, and some excellent top end screens. Certainly nothing wrong with iiyama screens in general.

The VM 454 Pro is well rated. Their aperture grille Diamondtron screens will be the top-end ones.

It's just a case of seeing what's available on the bay, checking the specs and then checking for reviews. They also have a website of course (http://www.iiyama.com). Try not to get anything too old because CRTs do fade over the years.

The last 3 VM Pro 513's (each needed to be replaced under warranty) I've had from iiyama have been rubbish. I had an old Dell 19" trinitron that was far better quality than any CRT iiyama have released.

Using a 413 here and have no complaints at all, cost me about £180 4 years ago, has been worth every penny.
