I have been testing my 9900k a hell of a lot of trial and error but I am not sure what better for 24/7 use I am looking for some info and opinions

Motherboard: Aorus Master Z390

  • Setting 1

-LLC High

-Vcore V1.180v Droops to 1.128

-Temp 73C

  • Settings 2

-LLC Turbo

-Vcore 1.155c Droops to 1.150v

-Temp 76c

Anything lower show instability after a few hours

all LLC dose is prevent voltage drop when under heavy load, you should set it to over 75% depend on the options you have in bios.
my board gives my level 1-8 as options so i have it on 7.

ones set tune vcore until you stable and walk away, your setting 2 looks good.

LLC basically pre-empts the current draw and subsequent voltage drop, so the higher levels will feed more current when demand spikes.

I have had my 9900k a week now and got these stable settings what would be best for 24-7 usage.

BIOS Profile 1
Multi Core Enhancement: Disabled
XMP: Enabled
Vcore: 1.160v ~ 0.567v
LLC: Auto
Temps: 74c

BIOS Profile 2
Multi Core Enhancement: Disbaled
XMP: Enables
Vcore: 1.180v ~ 1.128v
LLC: High
Temps: 72c

BIOS Profile 3
Multi Core Enhancement: Disabled
XMP: Enables
Vcore: 1.155v ~ 1.150v
LLC: Turbo
Temps: 76c

Stability Testing
1 Hour Real Bench
3 Time Spy Extreme Stress Test
1 Time Spy Stress Test
3 Games if Battlefield V

Overall I prefer a cooler system in general I know 5ghz would be nice but an extra 20c nah

this looks good, and if you get the performance you need out of it there is no need pushing 5ghz on all cores
