Bit curious about this setting 8 Pack, i run fixed vcore of 1.2700 ono in bios, 1.264 in windows, 1.2800 at load in games. This is the most stress my system gets, xtu, real bench ie normal stress type o stuff. (i dont do ibt/p95 etc). Ive left llc at auto since i clocked this setup, and it's doing ok. Chip isnt great for core oc, but not too bad on imc front for ram. Im kinda curious of your views on llc, hivizman on a recent review reccomended using a medium level, ie 5/6 on asus boards, then some others say use level 8, (max i presume)? Just kinda interested in this, and your view on it for a 24/7 use system. I remember on x58, a few guys saying do not use llc on your system, (it'll kill your cpu) Well ive got a 930 that done 4.3ghz with llc on for 2 years 24/7 and still going strong.

LLC was designed to combat drop (droop) in voltage under load. Most max/high/extreme etc settings on Z87 will apply vboost, i.e, you'll end up running higher vcore than set under load, idle voltage can be slightly higher as well and the difference between the two on load can be substantial. Sometimes this can be too much, all depends on board used. If running high vcore already and apply max LLC there's a fair chance under load you could fry the cpu.

Taking it down a couple of notches usual gives near enough the same vcore under load as set (give or take) and won't differ too much from idle voltage. The .016v you're getting on load is perfectly fine.

Not sure what Pack will say on this one but if it ain't broke don't fix it! Voltage is fine for 24/7 so unless you experience problems auto will be fine.
