I've been giving a lot of thought lately to upgrading to a 'Silver' account from my bank, Lloyds. Currently on their 'Club' account, which I'm really happy with but after spending out on travel insurance recently, just for me, their offering is for a family account, and upgrading my breakdown cover because I was doing a lot of national miles, the £11.50 a month fee suddenly seems a bit more attractive.
The other extra, mobile insurance, is just a bonus. My home insurance, contents cover has that all wrapped up.
Thoughts? Any any actual users/claimers here? - any issues/is it worth is etc.? I had an economics teacher at school that used to preach to us about never giving your bank any money, unless you had to etc. - I guess I've always kept that with me. Times change though, that was in about 2002
