Whats the difference between having an ADSL MAX ISP or an LLU ISP / line?

What happens differently? what's best to have, and what type would offer lower pings?

Or are they basically the same?

Cheers!

Well both are over the same physical cable to the where it diifers is that an ISP offer LLU has their own DSLAM's in the exchange and your connection is via that.

I dont have a clue what a DSLAM is but it sounds expensive, I take it the preformance is better using LLU then? as there's extra hardware put into it?

There is no "extra" hardware if you are connected via LLU.

A DSLAM is just a piece of equipment in the exchange, whether you are on an LLU product or not you connect to one.

The hardware may be the same but usualy LLU isp uses that hardware more efficently then BT. IMO
