Hi, could someone please advise me on this?

I'm seriously considering leaving Sky and getting a Humax (Humax HDR-1000S/1TB) Recorder.

Humax states: "Requires a working dual LNB satellite dish (Not Aerial)".

My current Sky set up is Sky+ it is NOT HD, the Humax box is HD.

Would my existing set up (LNB) up be compatible or would it need to be replaced?

Thanx

Yes, it will all work.

The LNB is pointing in the right direction and it is capable of receiving HD as well as standard def signals so long as there are HD channels actually being broadcast.

The dual LNB simply means that thing on the end of the dish arm with at least two outputs. Yours has 4. So you can run two Humax recorder boxes if you wish in the future. As far as the situation today goes though, you're all good to go. Just unplug the Sky twin feeds and connect them to the Humax. Job done :D
