I want to have a networked hard-disk available for backups and as a source for a few media files to play on a TV elsewhere in the house. I don't need the redundancy of a full NAS, nor the multi-streaming ability of a media centre.
Cheap and cheerful is the aim!

1. 4K Fire stick with Plex
Suspect i am missing something obvious here, but hints and tips welcome!- Possibly via an OTC for keyboard etc.
- Connected using a USB to ethernet connector
