Trying to load car diag software from oem disc via usb ext cd drive on to laptop..
Instal goes bad with blue screen of death....

Any thougts??

Umh...ok.is that easy?
Select all the file on the disc
Copy and paste into a folder on desktop
Right click the install exe file
Choose run as administrator
Though if it's bluescreening I would wonder
If the softwares compatible with the OS
Regardless of where you're trying to install it from
If it's having trouble reading the disc would expect explorer lock up
Or not responding
Rather than a blue screen
If it's old software and trying to install on newer OS
Similar idea as before but also choose install in
Compatibility mode for Windows 8,7 etc

Hi Guys,
So after downloading a thales sentinel drivers patch, the software load overcame the initial hasp bluescreen crash, i had copied cd1 to the desktop. Left cd 2,3 on dvd drive, after download install completed, i was getting some error messages saying versions on system newer than dvds....
Confused....left it a night.
Uninstalled texa complete. Copied cd 2 3 to desktop.
Re installed, last night, managed to get all working through to software upgrades...
Still need to pair the tool....but i think im nearly there.

Many thanks for all your help and suggestions.
Nice to get help without the usual forum bull s...
