Loading OC back after BIOS update? (ASUS)

I have an ASUS board (TUF Z270 Mark 1) and the 'EZ Update' software is telling me there is a BIOS update available.

I've backed up my 'OC Profile' (I assume this actually covers ALL the BIOS settings and not just the OC related stuff?) to a USB stick so should it be as simple as updating the BIOS using 'EZ Update' then just loading my 'OC Profile' backup back into the BIOS and doing a quick stress test?

Usually no, most Asus profiles are based on Bios version incase of extra options appearing disappearing etc.

I have always ended up having to write them down and manually re add them afterwards on the 5 ASUS boards I own..... crap I know.

Don't use any windows based software to flash the bios. Download the latest to a usb stick, reboot, enter the bios and use the excellent EZ-Flash tool. Even easier if your board has it is the USB flashback option.
