Loading/Running Games on my External Drive?

HI All

Besides my internal drive(80Gig) which has Windows XP on it,I have a 320 Gig External drive which I use to backup important files.

Can I load/run games on the External drive,or do they have to be installed and run from the drive with the OS it?

It's a Seagate 320Gig 7200 USB2 8meg Cache

I suppose the only way to know is to try it,at least now I know it may work.

Hi All

Well, I have loaded F.E.A.R - Far Cry and Stalker on my external drive and Far Cry and F.E.A.R run perfectly.Will try Stalker later today,though I don't expect any problems.

The reason for the large external drive is that I write and record music,and wave files take up a lot of space.

My main recording stuff is on the C drive,games are just used as a distraction when the creative juices don't flow.

Will let you know about Stalker later.
