Loadamoney is an Oldskool member and he knew his stuff, wondered why he stopped posting!?

He probably got sick of some of the petty arguments, trolling and general fanboyism the graphics card forum have been seeing a lot more of lately.

Let's face it who can really blame the guy from staying away, as it's been absolutely bloody ridiculous here at times.

Shame really, used to enjoy having a banter with him over the 8800GTS/9088GTX refreshes etc

when I first joined in 2006 the names that really stood out for me was lay-z-boy, ElRazur and loadsamoney.. all for various reasons but mainly because they seemed like catalysts for funniness

Actually it's the nVidia lot that ruin this place the most. That's not to say they're all bad - there are some very good pro-nVidia posters on here.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't think loadsamoney would have been put off by the recent influx of knobs. He had mad noob bashing skills.

I remember when loadsamoney was a hopeless noob who talked absolute rubbish half the time.

Nvidia fanboys on this forum are such a minority I'm surprised they would scare anybody off, it's predominantly an ATI lovefest compared to other more balanced forums.

When the 8800 line was king it very much was the other way around.
When the AMD Athlon was king it was very much the other way around.

Most forums are driven by what is most popular at the time which is understandable, its all the BS, crap & exaggerations that makes the problems.

He's not a bad lad, for a Liverpool fan.
