Local 2 player game like BroForce on PS4?

Looking for a simple game much like this for the PS4. Me and my girlfriend finished this last night and she really liked the simplicity of it and it was pretty fun! So my question is what other games are there out there like this that are 2 player local that we can try next?

There aren't too many local multiplayer games on PS4 these days

But if you enjoyed Broforce, you may like Mercenary Kings. It's a side scrolling shooter, where you traverse levels finding loot with which you use to craft weapons. It's like Monster Hunter mixed with Metal Slug. Boss battles are good, initially they might be tough, but once you figure out the patterns to the fights they are easy. It's a good whirl on splitscreen.

Otherwise, the only PS4 exclusive local multiplayer I can think of is Little Big Planet 3. And it's not a true exclusive either since it's on PS3 too. But it's Little Big Planet... so what could go wrong?
