local access only - wireless connection

I set up a password for the wireless on my router
phone/laptops etc all work except one laptop - it's an HP laptop running Vista
it was working fine when there was no password but since I put the password on it can connect to the wireless netwrok but has no internet access
have another laptop also running Vista and have had no problems with that one

have had to take the password off and leave it as open access to get it to work with the HP laptop

I tried disabling the antivirus and firewalls that I could see running
any ideas ?

What type of WiFi security are you using?
What's the model of the WiFi adapter in the HP laptop?

wpa2 - personal, AES
not my laptop and it's locked just now but I think it is an Atheros adapter

Go into a CMD winddow and type:-

ipconfig /all

Post output, compare output with one that works!
