Local loop unbundling presence

According to Samknows.com, CPW / TalkTalk have a local loop unbundling presence in my exchange. Can anyone explain what this means to me?

CPW/TalkTalk have installed their kit in your exchange. Unless you want to move to one of their services (and I'd struggle to recommend it) or you already are with them, it means nothing to you.

Thanks for the reply. So it doesnt mean 24 Meg broadband for me yet then?

TalkTalk don't offer a 24Mbps service, so no.
