Since I finished my living room setup with a projector and Xbox Series X - my family have had a bit of a rediscovery of the 90s style sofa multiplayer experience,

For us , so far:
- It Takes Two
- A Way Out

And a special mention to my personal GOTY SpiderHeck

Anyone else - and if so, what are you playing?

games like overcooked, moving out, Tools Up! and Totally Reliable Delivery Service

Other Games
  • Human Fall Flat
  • Phogs!
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • For The King
  • KeyWe
  • Unravel 2
  • Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

The xbox 360 arcade version of Sensible World of Soccer was my first download on Series X. Its still hard to beat in multiplayer.

I have Retron 5 which I use to play a lot of couch co-op and multiplayer games. SF2 is the most popular! It can play both NES/SNES and Mega Drive games whilst displaying via HDMI.

I've just bought Dysmantle to play with my one of my sons. Reviewed ok but not had a chance to play it yet. There aren't many good couch co op games unfortunately.

I love this thread. When my daughter was much younger (She is now typical 16 year old GTAV, Fortnite, Minecraft) we would play a lot of Coop through our xbox's.

Rayman Legends, Lego games, Resident Evil 5, Deadspace 3 and of course all the various gears games were all great plays. In fact we completed Deadspace 3 when she was 10 years old!

I tried to get her into Wow classic but she was too young. Maybe I might try again sometime during winter.

Overcooked 2 is really good!
Moving Out looked good but bored us quite quickly.

Untitled Goose Game popped up on my Steam recommendations so I may give that a go. Looks entertaining.
