Locating a app.?

Looking at where the RPM packages for the software install the files on http://rpm.pbone.net I would suggest looking in /usr/bin/ but given the complete lack of any meaningful information in the OP (like what flavour of Linux, what actual files have been installed) that's a guess.
Of course a simple Google search would show you the name of the executable and then a find (across /usr as a logical starting point and then elsewhere if that didn't return anything) for that would be a logical way to look for it on the system (assuming you don't use a package manager like RPM where it's trivial to get a list of files for an installed package ...)
