A quick pic from the other evening of the Grand Union Canal. It was a odd light, thinly overcast and quite hazy.

I didn't have an immediate reaction to that, had to look at it quite a bit..

But I like it!
I was undecided on the generally posterised nature of the colours, and am still undecided on the white strips near the lock (distracting?)
But the narrow colour depth accentuates the feeling of loneliness, and a generally empty area where you would perhaps expect more life.

Yes, odd one... It's one of those shots that I started processing and stopped, thinking 'this is crap!' But going back through some recent unprocessed shots the other night it caught my eye so I thought I'd finish it off. I quiet like it now. Posting it elsewhere I got a good reation but I didn't know how well it would go down here.

Anyway, thanks loads for commenting
