Now that i re-read it i suppose it does look like a mod, but it isn't, sorry, it's just the title of the promo vid

Estimated release date is Autumn 2006, so expect it around Feb-Mar 2007.

Fantastic, need to save some cash to buy TrackIR, Armed Assault and Black shark. Do you need Flaiming cliffs addon as well? Or just lock on?

Track IR is a must, I have one and i can't fly without it. The Current plan is that you only need Lock On, but you will not get the Su-25T from Flaming Cliffs in Black Shark.

BTW if you don't have FC yet, get it, the new flight model for the SU-25 and 25T alone make it worth the purchase (try the demo on the site above)

No point atm, no joystick, sold the x52 I had as I jusit didnt use it enough. Any other stick u would recommend?

Don't know much about any of the current Joysticks, still have same one i bought 10 years ago... Your Best bet would probably be to get an el cheepo stick for under 20 quid, and get a good one later if you're still interested.

Anyway Im looking forward to this :)

One really cool time on lock on was on multiplayer, I was flying towards the combat area with all my radar off so I didnt give myself away, I was using the 8 way hat thing on my stick to look around and see if i could spot enemy planes, I saw two Russian ones (I forget the name, its been a while) side by side real low heading the opposite way to me. I dropped down right behind them but I wasnt extactly the most trained pilot, pressed the wrong button and turned my radar on.

Think it was a 120 missile or something that I fired, it hit one of them but I was looking for the heat seeker missiles so i didnt have to turn on my radar to lock them. Anyway, the other one broke off and well, in dogfights I suck so I just bugged out :P
 
Really looking forward to this, it's about time we had a proper helicopter sim, makes me want to install Comanche 3 again :D
