My best friend died a couple a month back and his mum hs giving me his laptop to get all his pictures off it but its windows xp passoworded and no one knows the password

is there anyway i can get into it ?
 
You can buy CDs that allow new admin accounts etc to be created (and maybe passwords to be removed - although I'm not sure on that one). You can buy them on *well know auction site*. Have a google, it might be just what you're looking for.

// EDIT // They're called 'ultimate boot disks', well the ones I'm looking at are anyway. They allow all passwords to be reset to default.
