Just wondering if anybody has modded their Corsair 650D to be able to lock the side-panel?

I go to to the iSeries LANs quite often so would like to do a bit to secure my 650D from being opened.

Currently thinking about;

A. Cutting a hole and placing a small locking mech (i.e. this)
B. Thin chain/cable going over the sides with padlock, but that's messy!

Any other suggestions?

What about some sort of special head type thumbscrew?

Edit: I don't mean thumbscrews, I mean they would replace the thumbscrews, if you could find the diameter, you could cut them down to size with something like a hacksaw.

I was having this exact problem cause im going to i49 and couldnt think of a way to lock it and didnt want to do a botch job myself so i got a adjustable suitcase strap with lock to put around my case while im there, best thing i could think of

650D doesn't have thumbscrews for the side-panels unfortunately.

The adjustable suitcase strap sounds like a good shout though! - Have ordered one now and I'll just use that.

Was going to suggest a spider tag, but the suitcase strap would probably be 10x cheaper and less hassle and just as good

Ive never really thought of security at a LAN,is theft really a issue? or is it just for peace of mind?
I guess there is always one bad egg out to spoil everyones fun.

To be fair there's a really small amount of incidents, but last event somebody had their PC opened and GFX Card/RAM stolen, another guy had DSLR stolen, another guy had DVD Drive forced open and DVD stolen (lol).

Plus this will be the biggest one I've been to and there's also "expected" 15000 visitors for the Minecraft Expo - which I'm not sure if they will have access to the gaming hall. So better safe then sorry.

Just bumping this because I've ordered one of these suitcase straps and received it the other day, and there is quite a big flaw in this.. :p

You can adjust the strap without having to enter the combination, so it slides right off the case! Oops, bad purchase!
