Locking Nut

Had a puncture, go to change the tyre and the locking nut is rounded off :/
anybody know of any tricks to get it off
its vauxhall meriva design 2005

There are ways of getting most of them off. Which method to try depends on what type of locking nut it is. A pic would help.

thought i'd be inventive, welded a wrench to the nut itself and that worked

Lol, you could have welded a nut to the locker and saved the wrench
