Hi.

I've just fired up a P32 Gigabyte board with a Q6600 and some Ballistix PC2-800 memory. The problem is, that when I up the FSB with ram goes up along with it. In the options I can only see Auto, 2.5,3,3.5 etc and therefor no way to lock the ram speed at 800, nor do I see a way to change the ram voltage to anything other than Auto (it should be 2.2v). I've got the latest P9 BIOS.

Can anyone help?

you can't lock the RAM frequency on an Intel chipset - it's always linked to the CPU fsb so that if you increase CPU fsb then RAM frequency will increase as well (the exact amount according to the selected CPU DRAM ratio).

The RAM voltage setting is the Memory Overvoltage setting (or summit like that). Auto is 1.8v, so you will need to set it to +0.4v for 2.2v.
