Loft cinema setup

Evening all, wife and I retired to France last month and now sorting out the house. The loft is a decent size, no use as day to day living space but the first room looks perfect for a cinema area



I was planning on putting underlay, carpet and then one of those TV mattress/sofa things in so you can lay down propped up to watch TV. I have a 7.1 setup, surround rears will be mounted on the beam behind us, a subwoofer placed on some foam wedges to isolate it from the floor and I have a cheap 1080P projector and screen to trial whats its like before i splash out on something better. I am hoping even a cheap one will be decent as the room is very dark with only 2 tiny windows, which I can block with some small curtains. Behind the material you see on the far wall is a plasterboard wall hiding the central heating header tank for the woodburner below, I will mount the screen with some timber to make it rigid and mount it there.

Am I missing anything obvious I need to consider?
I do wonder if the sound will be too much for the chipboard and cause a lot of vibration below. Not worried about noise from the movie per se, its only the two of us in the house, but do I need to do anything to stop booming or vibration from it thast would spoil the movie, or will underlay/carpet be enough to stop that?
Do you think mounting rears and surrounds on the beam will be a problem with vibration? I assumed it would be okay, rear sound is usually lower than the fronts anyway.
The front floorstanding speakers were mounted on spikes at home on the carpet/concrete floor. Do I need a different system with the chipboard floor here?

Wooden floors are not great for sound leakage and associated issues.
If you have the opportunity to add additional sound deadening material, and/or enhance the quality of the flooring, that might help.
For your sub, see if you can mount it on something pretty heavy and rigid, such as a large marble tile or something similarly inert.
Then go read about using room correction.
