Loft ladder

Want to get a loft ladder to replace the 630x650mm hole I have now.

Rafters are 630mm apart so looks like I’m limited to 600wide by 1200.

House is 1902 build with 220mm of loft insulation but not sure it’s worth going for a massively efficient hatch integrated.

Any decent ones to recommend? Fakro look good but also seen some cheaper alternatives. Some good reviews, some not so.

Always worth going for a decently insulated hatch otherwise why bother undulating the rest!

what is your budget ?
FWIW I paid ~£350 for a folding loft ladder from BPS access solutions.
It is beefy but the hatch is massive (1300 x 700 ish from memory)

Its still not as solid as I would like but then I am 20stone and use it multiple times per day
