Log into a computer with out any installed software?

I know there are teamviewer and logmein but they require the program to be installed on the client end. Is there anything that is available for free that doesnt requre any software?

Teamviewer QuickSupport just requires them to run it; it gives them an ID/password which you type in at your end to connect. No install needed.

Similarly with Teamviewer Portable, though UAC can be a PITA and sometimes I find mouseclicks never get passed to the client.

windows does have built in stuff, it has 'windows remote assistance'. It just requires the person who is helping to have a professional or higher version of windows, all versions can call for help.

Windows Live has access to this built in too last time I checked
