How can we log into trust if we've forgotten the password?

I can log into my overclockers shop account no problem, but can't log into my trust account and there seems no way to reset password????

Isn't it supposed to be the same one you registered to the forums on? If you log out is there a 'forgot password' box then?

It should be the same as your forum password, if you've changed your forum password recently it may be worth trying the old one, otherwise let us know (probably best in the forum content discussion area) and we can look into it more.

Why do we even still have trust rather than just using the conversation feature.
Because Trust is visible to anyone who has access, so it's a good way of keeping track of how well users sales have gone.

It's possible it could be changed, but it generally works well for it's primary purpose and I suspect changing to a different method that duplicates the main function would be difficult/time consuming (the Trust system was IIRC custom made because at the time there wasn't a suitable off the shelf add on that did what was needed).

I thought the Trust button was a voting feature. Ie. If you click it it's like giving a "like" or something like that.

E. Months ago someone asked if they could 'contact me on Trust' - I had no idea what they meant whatsoever. I thought *they* misunderstood the 'voting button'.

Why do only a few people have the Conversation feature? I find it a lot easier but not everyone has the option.

Because that's not what it's for, it's for feedback following deals in the MM to see whether someone is trustworthy. You can leave positive and negative feedback depending on how the deal went.

Everyone should, at least, everyone who's got more than 50 posts. Some people choose to disable it and some permissions weren't set exactly right when we moved from the old forum software to the new one. If anyone doesn't have it and they think they should, they can contact us through FCD and we'll fix it.

It's a feature we should have, my post count would be half if I could just LIKE a post but instead I have to reply that I agree.

It's an extra post to make me look as though I live on here.
