I am going to the lake district for a couple of weeks and have found out that the caravan park where I am staying provides wireless network connectivity for clients.

I am gonna take along my laptop to stay in touch. I presume I just need to enter my blueyonder email settings to outlook express in my laptop and that will proceed through the wireless network connection? Is it really as easy as that?

For collecting your e-mail yes - ISP's usually allow connections from anywhere.
To prevent e-mail relay issues you will probably find that you cannot send any e-mail at all through your ISP's mail server whilst not connected to their network.

You'll need to find out if the wireless connection you are getting have an SMTP server you can use.
Or speak to your ISP before you go and see if they have a mail server you can relay mail through that maybe requires a secure logon.

If all that fails then webmail based systems are probably going to be the only way you can send any e-mail out.

The best solution is use a free internet mail service at www.mail2web.com. I used it in Austria last week to send emails on my pop3 account. I used the advanced login mode and specified my popmail server and everything worked well.
