Right I really want to use Logic, so I need a Mac

Being a PC boy I know nothing about them, the price of new iMacs is pretty steep so I am thinking of a second hand one, what should I be looking for and roughly how much is a second hand one going to cost me?

not got a budget as such, I'll spend what I need to but don't wanna to shell out loads that I don't need to if you see what I mean

by no means professional, I've been making music for a few years, never had anything realesed or anything like that

It more because I like doing it, if someone one day wants to buy what I make then great!

you could get a MBP+ plug it into your monitor then you got double work space?

The Imac doesnt need to be to powerful.. 2.6ghz should be ok more ram the better

I'd go for a refurbished iMac.

That way, you get a good (if not current) spec and there won't be anything wrong with it.

(They're typically just returns or ones that have been repaired back to factory condition).
