Logitech Bluetooth dongle

Is it possible to use the bluetooth dongle i got with my Logitech MX Laser mouse to connect to a Sony mbs-100 bluetooth speaker i have and play music through it.

I have managed to pair the speaker to the computer through bluetooth devices in control panel but i can't see how to play music through it.

Also if i get a second bluetooth speaker will I be able to connect them both to the PC and play music through both at the same time?

None of the Logitech MX mice are Bluetooth mice. And the one or two Bluetooth mice that Logitech do make don't come with a Bluetooth dongle, so I don't know what you're talking about!

Edit - sorry reread your post. That isn't a Bluetooth dongle, it's just a rf reciever for the mouse.

well the mouse, keyboard and dongle all have the bluetooth logo on them...

What OS are you using? Have you looked in the sound settings?

DiNovo's are bluetooth. I think they are the one model that are both blue tooth. I've got a DiNovo Edge and I've tried linking my phone to my computer using the dongle, but it didn't work.

I think the bluetooth dongles that logitech use can only be used with their respective components.

im running XP

seems to suggest that its possible to pair it through the dongle but to get music through it i will be need some new driver... :confused:

The MBS-100 is A2DP - stereo bluetooth. I guess you'd need to be A2DP at both ends?
