Has anyone had any problems with this mouse?

The batteries dont seem to be charging, and when they do charge they charge extremely slow. The little green light flashes on the dock, but the thing on the mouse doesn't say they've been charged.

I've disabled " Allow windows to turn this device off to save power " on my USB ports, but that hasn't helped at all :(

how long are you leaving them to charge?

and what mode do you have the charger set to?

with my two G7's ive never had a problem with either of them, once the reciever wouldnt pick up the mouse but that was a minor thing easily sorted.

as you know, the flashing green light means the battery should be charging, so my sherlock holmes deduction is that you've either got some duff batteries or the docking station isn't charging...tried putting it on the other mode (eg boost or normal depanding on what you currently have set)

How old are the batteries, and how much use have they had?
When you swap the batteries over, what does the software say about the charge level...does it agree with what the mouse is telling you...like are the leds red when the software's telling you the batteries are critical?

In standard mode it takes about 16 hours to charge the pack, if I remember right, but the switch on the bottom of the charger enables boost mode.

The reason Boost isnt enabled by default is because it draws slightly more power than the officialy maximum power for USB, however good quality motherboards/powered hubs can generally run boost mode without any serious issued.

Mine is hooked up to the powered USB hub on my Dell 2407.

In boost mode it charges the pack from flat in 2 hours.

PS Lithium batteries HATE deep discharge, to keep the pack healthy put the pack on charge as soon as the mouse dies, never leave it flat. If you really wanna extend the packs life you can even pop the fully charged packs in the fridge, but at room temperature, and kept charged they should last 18 months.

Hi thanks for the replys guys.

The mouse and batteries are about.... 6 month old, ish.

The charger is set to standard mode, it used to work fine untill about a month ago they started to take longer to charge.

I've had the current batterie in the charge for over 30 hours now, and it's still on 1 bar, as it was on 1 bar 30 hours ago, so it aint charged a bit.

And the software is agreeing with what my mouse says.

I've also tryed using booster mode for about 5 hours to see if that would make a difference but it hasn't.

I could try a different USB port, maybe the ones on my monitor?

Any one no of any where that you can buy the batterys from because ocuk dont sell them and mine seem to be dieing very quick. Normaly after one day but in the middle of a game lol.

Both batteries arnt charging, damn this is sooo the last time i buy a cordless mouse lol.

Guess i'll have to look around to see if i can buy a new charging dock and batteries, although i could probably get 4 decent corded mice for the same price

I've never had an issue.

I would contact logitech - Their support procedures are very good and I would expect a new charger to be winging it's way to you within a week.

Just explain the issue you are having.

I've had the G7 for over a year now and it's been faultless.
