Logitech cordless keyboard problems

A few days ago, my Logtech cordless keyboard started playing up. The hotkey buttons along the top seemed to have re-programmed themselves!

The F Lock button seems to increase the volume, the user button mutes the volume, the email button does nothing, the Messenger key brings up the Logitech website etc etc.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, have tried a system restore and still no luck. This leads me to believe that there's an actual problem with the keyboard?

Any input would be appreciated :)

change the batteries if you haven't done so already ;)
due to the way the keyboards work when the batteries start to run low you can get some very funny effects (basically the control chips etc can get a bit confused due to low current/voltage resulting in the chips not registering things properly).

I believe the same thing can and does happen with some of the more advanced remote controls.

It could be more serious, but batteries are a good place to start :)

Thanks very much - this seems to have solved it :)

Strange, because I thought I had replaced it with new batteries when the problem occured. Clearly I replaced it with old ones!
