Logitech DiNovo Edge & MX Revolution Issues

Hi everyone,

I've been using my Logitech MX Revolution mouse and Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard for about a few months now. I love them, but I think I've got a few issues.

Basically sometimes they sorta cut out on me. It happens maybe once or twice a week, sometimes everyday. When using my mouse normally sometimes the pointer would stop for about a second and then come back. For my keyboard it would lock up on the key I last pressed and I'd have to hard reset it, or be unresponsive for about a second like the mouse.

As you can imagine this sucks, not just for general use but for gaming as well.

Just wondering if anyone else experienced a problem like this and can give me some pointers? Could there possibly be a fault with my devices? I don't have anything else that's wireless and connected to my PC.. it's just these two.

Thanks.

I had a DiNovo Edge keyboard and mine also used to lock up at times. Usually in a game causing a lot of problems having the same symptoms as yourself i.e the last key pressed would stick.

I eventually sold it and got a G15 version 2 (wired) and no more problems.

There is a newer version of the Logitech setpoint software out so maybe that could resolve the issue.

My MX Revolution is very succeptable to WiFi interference. I ended up moving the access point to another room.

I have the key locking up problem sometimes...annoying in bf2 when i have to go round in circles to keep me from moving forwards :p but otherwise i'm happy with it.

Can't really help you OP,
but I've been using the Edge with a MX Rev (and a G7 the odd time) with no issues at all (apart the dust collecting !)..
Using an access point in the same room. along with a Logitech and 360 wireless pad on the same PC. Multiple other wireless devices in the room (PS3s, laptop etc) also functioning across each other with no problems at all..
I'm using the latest Setpoint software at the moment but I've never had an issue down the while, so software may not be your answer here..

Very strange for the two to be interfering with each other (especially if you've nothing else close by), but it may be worth removing one of them for a while to see if the issues continue..

I ended up not using my MX rev for the same reason, just could not get rid of the drop outs. Oddly the Dinovo edge has never had any problems though.

Got the same keyboard+mouse also, I think I have the same issue with my mx rev mouse, its almost a lagg thing ? as in u could be scrolling around and it just cut off for a split second?

I havent found a cure for it yet tbh.... I just thought its a trait with going wireless.

As nice as the Dinova/rev is my MX500 I feel offered more accuracy and im getting tired of charging the mouse every 2-3 days, gonna go back to wired and more accurate/faster keyboards/mice....
