All you long-time diNovo loving fans can take heart -- Logitech's finally given a major overhaul to our favorite ultraslim, tactile, stylie keyboard. The new diNovo Edge (which runs on Bluetooth, of course) finally fixes some of the long standing issues we've had with the keyboard, including having an integrated battery (plus dock / charging cradle, much like Logitech's mice have long since had -- a single charge should supposedly last two months), light-up function keys that show which key mode you're in, and even throws in some new bonuses: Vista optimized media keys, a volume touchpad (with LED-lit meter), and even a trackpad with circular scrolling

Looks very good, cant wait to see more news on this

was having a look at that the other day on their site, looks pretty cool, some nice features too..may be my next keyboard upgrade when i get bored of my dinovo lol

That looks amazing!

I've gone through all the range of Di-Novos so far, original desktop, note book and the lazer one too.

Was only thinking last week that the keys on my current one are starting to look a bit shiny and worn.

:)

looks to be around the £200 mark

Was just looking for this bad boy and saw your post.

Logitech site state its not released in the uk yet, can be had in the us though.

Also take a look at the ms8000 keyboard/mouse setup.

Think i prefer this though. Go nice with my g7 cf edition.

pondering over this and the MS 8000 one, does the track pad fully mimick the mouse?

also I plan to use the keyboard as part of a home cinema setup, the one flaw with browsing from 10 feet away is readability when browsing, I love the zoom ability of MS mouse if only this was used in a keyboard or has it?

Now that is nice. :)

edit//

I've just noticed it says $200 on their website. That mean we'll probably have it for around £150/£160. It's a lot of money for what is only a keyboard. :(

I also like the look of the Z10 speakers.

is this a desktop combination of keyboard and mouse as with previous di novo's, or just a standalone keyboard?

looks really nice

This is a keyboard with a laptop style mousepad, along with an Ipod style scrolling device. Which will save space, and also offers an alternative to that MS MCE Kb.

This keyboard looks so good, i think it will be a perfect partner for anyones HTPC build. £150 though! :( (the sad thing is i would pay that)

Trusted Reviews have a (very) brief review of this with a few more pics.

No numpad either which is a show-stopper for me (I use numpad for all the games I play :( )

Surprised no one else noticed? (or maybe no one besides me cares lol)

Yeah, I know what you mean! That numpad comes in damn handy quite a lot of the time im using it, I would have thought that it would come separate like the other dinovo series?

Would be nice to see O/C here to sell that.

Dinovo Edge & MX Revolution for the mouse

Has anyone got one of these yet? Still interested in end-user opinions on this bit of kit.

Overclockers hasnt got these in stock yet, will they be getting them in?

Certainly looks the part. I'm currently a Di-Novo owner and have enjoyed using the keyboard, it's exceptional. Depending on the pricing I would definatley consider upgrading.

Yeah the numpad is a bit of a downer on this, but its targetted for Media centre systems, and the need for a numpad is small HTPCs.
