ok so my little boy decided to snap the receiver out of the microserver and dinovo wont play.... logitech dont make spare receivers... bad times.

any recomendations to an alternative mini keyboard / mouse combo ?

Are you sure you couldn't source a replacement receiver?

I remember getting one from Logitech for an old MX Revolution easily enough.

Ebay might be of use?
 
Tried them they don't have any replacement ones :(

Wasn't sure a dongle would work. Anybody got any experience of any that may work?

If it's a bluetooth kit (which google tells me it is) you can use any old bluetooth dongle for it. Windows won't discriminate.
