On the strength of some of the stories on here, I emailed Logitech about my failing G5, and 48 hours after my first email, I've got myself a discount code for 50% off anything in their shop...

Damn tempted to get the "G Series Bundle" of the G19 keyboard, G9x mouse and G13 gamepad for £112.50!!

Have to convince the other half that this is a good idea... lol

Anywhoo... Yes, to those who wonder: Logitech Customer Service really IS amazing!!

I'd recommend those to anybody!

I've got a QuickCam Pro 4000 that I bought over ten years ago here that still works just as well as the day I bought it! (albiet the quality isn't as top-notch as it used to be lol)

But nice to know that when it does die, I'll get some help from their customer support department!

Incidentally, the code is only valid for single items - so I can't get that bundle for £112 :( lol

Could get a G19 for £75 though ;) ...too much choice...so little money :( lol

They asked me to cut off the USB end of my faulty G15 last time and to send it back to them. But i didn't and sold it, with no questions after. The back light died on it so apart from the light it was still a great keyboard!

I hope one day you need their help and they tell you to get lost mate

And thats what will bring their great service to an end, when people take the mickey.

Hmm. Unfortunately people that taking the **** is why most companys don't have such a good returns policy/customer service.

^^ +1 to those

Either a new mouse or a 50% off code if it's out of warranty

Bare in mine that my G5, I've had for about 7 years so it's WELL out of warranty lol

They didn't ask for my G5 back... None of the people posting their customer service stories have had to send their stuff back either... so I wouldn't think so, no
