Picked this up locally today half price and all i can say is wow, wheels have come a long way since the old ps2 gt wheel and this being ps3 and pc compatible made it for me within budget.

been playing GRID,DIRT 2,NFSS,GT4 Must admit the force feedback on dirt2 on pc is immense set it to 100% terrain and your fighting to keep the wheel in your hands. 900degree wheel rotation helps with realism.

Anyway if your still playing racing games with arrow keys or have a sub £80 budget then i would say this is the wheel to go for.The only thing it lacks which i would like in the future is a clutch and H gear stick but those wheels get pretty pricey.

Any questions about it then fire away

Looking good, I have the old version I used to use with Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2, 900 degrees is so much win!

i owned that one to but this is far superior in everyway especially the feedback.

baja on dirt 2 is awesome with this wheel i just tried setting everything to 100% then played 2 laps of baja and now my arm hurts lol.

last racing wheel i owned was about £12 brand new for the ps2... threw it away the same day.

currently playing racing games using Xbox 360 controller via wireless adapter. think i may be getting this racing wheel to try :)

it's a awesome wheel just get the drivers from the logitech website or if you have windows 7 it finds them anyway IIRC.

GT5 Prologue is good with the as you can adjust car settings on the fly with the jog dial and i think the full gt5 will be out sometime this year aswell. Usueally wheels are just a fad or something to mess around on. back in ps2 days if i wanted a hot lap time i'd be using controller and analog sticks but i've already shaved >1 second off some of my lap times in GT5 prologue with this wheel i also like how the little GT symbol in the middle lights up and is actually a button

is it easy to change gears even though the wheel is so close to it?

Yeah extremely easy i have large hands and don't have a problem at all i can actually change gear with my little fingers while keeping grasp of the wheel or if you don't like the stick it's got 2 buttons on the back of the wheel to change gear they are not paddles but just large buttons with quite good resistance so you can't tap them accidently

I've got the same wheel, it's fricking awesome! I've only got grid with it just now but the force feedback is a struggle at 100% you can put it upto 150% with the profiler. :p

never had the chance to use it yet damm you starforce -.-

is you pedals black in colour I mean all black, and my brake pedals seems to have some tension= win too bad it has no clutch :(

yeah it's all black and the brake pedal has some kind of tension spring in there to add to the realism.

whats the problem with star force your having?

Where did you get it for half price?

just a managers special in a local store can't name where in here but it was the only one they had still had the logitech seal on it.OCUK sell them for £80 but they've been out of stock a while now i had been saving up to get one from here but when i seen it local i snapped it up quick lol

keeps saying I have a emulator...and I don't

cloest thing i have to one is my LG burner stuff

its for Dirt as I cba with Dirt 2

i just had a blast with GRID

my arms ack now :( :P

I'm loving the half naked belly shot reflection in the middle of the racing wheel.

yeah i was going to photoshop it out but couldn't be bothered just my missus must have the heating at 20degrees or more 24/7 lol, for reasons unknown think she's just a cold ***

I still use my trusty Microsoft Sidewinder Feedback wheel to this day, only problem is I can't really enjoy the feedback effects anymore as this Ikea style desk just starting wobbling all over the place, unless they are set to weak settings. I don't really play my arcade racers and when I do I actually seem to find them better with a gamepad. Still looks like an awesome thing especially for the price.

my desk is 28mm laminated ply with 60x60mm solid legs it ain't going nowhere takes 2 people to move it so it's very solid. My old microsoft 360 wheel i had on a coffee table about the size of the wheel one day when i was playing i hit a wall and the force feedback lifted the table off the ground LOL.

I think some wheels are pretty good i just shaved 2.3 seconds of my fastest joypad time on GT5 prologue. Also just tried the NFSS demo and that is very good. had to set force feedback to 35% tho as 100% was killing my hand after 2 laps just trying to keep hold of the thing. Awesome bit of kit tho for the price

Looks good :) i was going to get this wheel but at the last minute saw that OCuk were doing the G25 for about £120 so i snatched it. Had a go on my mates Driving Force GT and its an awesome wheel, and for the price you payed you've got a real bargain there :)
