Hello.

I've just got myself a Logitech Driving force Pro steering wheel for PS2 and apparently PC according to this thread. (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17751426&highlight=driving+force+pro). Fantastic steering wheel on the PS2 with GT4, but looking on the logitech website i cant seem to find the drivers anywhere. I just wondered if anyone could confirm that this actually works on the PC, becuase i'm desperate for a steering wheel for Colin Mcrae DiRT.

From the thread posted above it seems "banja" has it working on the PC, if you read this could you please tell me the secret? ;)

Cheers

I have one of these and it does work on the PC. iirc (it was about a year ago) I loaded the drivers from another one of their wheels, possibly the momo wheel & it worked.

Great wheel, but I'm still rubbish at gpl

Im running vista, and i have one of those wheels. And it picked it up right away, I also downloaded those wingman stuff too.

It's a great wheel too

Does Vista register the wheel as a 900 degrees wheel?

Nope, it recognises it as a 45 degree wheel. Its absolutely pants!!

I'm playing DiRT using it and its impossible to control....the 1st 40degrees of the steering do almost nothing, then the last 5degrees change from a slight adjustment in steering to full lock....

Also force feedback does NOT work with DiRT, i'm not sure if it works in any other driving games on the PC becasue i havn't got any others.

I might attempt to download some other wheels drivers like suggested and see what happens.

As posted above, get the Logitech Gaming Software version 4.60 and everything will work perfectly.

Oooohhh i got the force feedback working with that software, but the wheel still doesn't turn through the full 900degrees its capable of. It only does 90 degrees to the left, and 90 degrees to the right.

Should i expect it to be able to go a full 900 degrees? Or am i expecting too much from a steering wheel that was meant for the PS2? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Thank a lot

To "unlock" to the full 900 degrees of turn,

Press Select + R3 + Right paddle ( The gear change thingy )

You should hear the wheel "unlock" and the full 900 degrees will be available ;)

Press the same to go back to 90 degrees

LoL sounds like a Playstation cheat..

Control Panel - Game Controllers

Highlight the Logitech Driving Force Pro USB and select "Properties".

Click the "Settings" button.

Select the amount of degrees of rotation that suits.
