No details as yet other than their first collaboration will be a "gaming chair" and revealed sometime this spring. So we can expect it to be far more ergonomic and well-made than the majority of gamer chairs, but with an astronomic price tag to boot. :o

This is all the HM site has to say;

Interesting, I've long been a fan of Herman Millers as gaming chairs. Can't wait to see what they come up with (and whether it's anything other than a re-branded current HM).

I guess they could add RGB lighting and wireless charging for Logitech headphones :p

I thought they already did gaming chairs? ;)

How many usb ports and rgb do we really need?

Still, am intrigued, not enough to buy though. My Leap v2 is gaming ready, already.

I can only assume they're going to just add some 'gamery' colour options to their cheaper chairs. Can't see them spending the cash to fully re-design an ergonomic gamer chair - and what does that even mean anyway?

Hope it is better quality than their recent switches in their mice and keyboards.

Uhm sarcasm? The chair is made by Herman Miller and has a 12 year warranty. I would not worry about quality, it's probably the best quality chair you will ever sit on in your life

Yes as sarcasm actually means you are being truthful in funny way which most do not seem to get or think or means your joking.

Their switches are a joke.

I think I am actually tempted by this...

Bearing in mind my back has never been great, and I am currently on day 4 (of absolute agony) of a trapped nerve in my neck which I swear is down to how I have been sitting in my current computer chair, I knew I needed a replacement.

First it was a choice between secretlabs or noblechairs, but then there is the voices of don’t do it, get a proper office chair instead. Herman Millers kept coming up, so that is a possibility, but they are still £500 refurbished with a years warranty. Suddenly £1200 with a 12 year warranty doesn’t seem too bad... but that could be the pain talking! Strange how everything always seems to go upwards...

Very tempted by this. We're moving things around in the house so I can work and game from the same room. Currently its nice to shut the door on work but we want our small bedroom back.
Seeing as I'll be sat on it 8 hours a days working and then another few gaming, I see it as a great investment in my spine. 12 yr warranty is fantastic too.
Can't see any downsides actually besides initial outlay.

Have an IKEA Markus for work and a Noble Epic for gaming. Both pretty firm and after 4 months at home, its starting to get painful.
