Logitech G11 or G15?

Hi, made a thread a while ago mentioning that I was looking at a new keyboard + mouse

A question about the keyboard now. Just wondering whether the G15 is worth paying an extra £20 for, rather than the G11. Is there anything that really justifies paying the extra money?

Do you need a screen on your keyboard? Would you pay an extra £20 for one?

Is the different styling of the G15 worth £20?

Personal opinion really. I went for the G11 as I didn't need anything more, and additional function buttons were of more use to me than a screen.

On a more shallow note, the blue lights matched everything else I have too.

I love my G15, mainly for the screen. I love the ability to have CoreTemp running whilst gaming to monitor all my temps, and for active audio control of my media player whilst in games too. It can also monitor your emails and many many other things.

3rd party software mods are the best!

G15 but only with a blue lit keyboard

Not sure how good the newer ones are with orange? lighting and less keys I think.

I deliberately bought the G15 rev1 when they released the rev2 as I didn't want to miss out on the blue lighting, looked like you get more keys too (not that I've ever used the macro buttons!)
