Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard

Hi All,

I'm in the market for a new gamepad as my old Bekin Nostromo is coming to the end of it's life.
I've looked at this G13 on youtube but would like some feed back from anyone who has used one please.
(Pros & cons)

If not G13 what game pad would be best.

The razer tartarus is the modernised version of the Nostromo, you might want to consider that. I had an original N52, then a g13, but now used a TKL mechanical keyboard rather than a game pad as it still allows me to have my hands in a more comfortable position than a full size keyboard, but offers more keys.

IMO, the g13 isn't bad (It's got more keys than the n52), but I found the game profiles irritating if they magically got applied when I didn't want them, and in general it would forget or switch profiles at in-opportune moments (Although that might have been fixed now with firmware/driver updates). The N52 was IIRC slightly more comfortable than the G13 (The g13 has a flatter palm rest), but I found the mouse joystick on the original n52 fairly useless.

The one thing I used to love about the n52 was the thumb button.

Thnx for the reply, same thought as you on the mouse wheel on the n52, as I never used it. I was also looking at the Razer Tartarus Chroma expert RGB Gaming Pad, as it has no mouse wheel has anyone got or used one of them? before I make a decision on what to order.
