logitech g15 leds

I have not opened mine but it would seem to be a case of unsoldering and re-soldering new LED's on.

I would check to see what LED's are used in the KB first as they all power from a USB port so I'd imagine they are fairly low power use type.
 
I quite like the blue as it matches everything else (but the damn monitor)

anyone know if it possible to change the green leds to blue on a dell 2007wfp?
 
yes because i just have that money to throw away don't i, seriously you know how much a g15 is? you think i am just going to chuck it away and get another keyboard just for the colour it lights up? wise up man seriously. this is a thread about whether it is possible or if anyone has done it, not reccommend me another keyboard that lights up red
 
The g15 appears to not cost enough to deter you from wanting to open it up and put new leds in just to change its color.

Seriously though, there was a G11 review recently which shows the keyboard in pieces and where the leds are. Same keybard apart from the led display thingy as far as i know. a goofle search would probably find it quicky as the review was quite recent.
