Hey all,
Well, my house mate spilled beer over my Rev 1 G15. The keyboard still worked, but a lot of the keys were sticky. So I thought I would take it apart and give it a clean. The problem is, the ribbon connecting the screen was really tight, and despite being careful, it ripped straight off. So now my keyboard is sticky and the screen is broke.
My mate said he'll give me the money for a replacement, but it will be the Rev 2 orange one. (grrrr why couldn't he have smashed my monitor, mouse or my face... instead he breaks the one thing that cannot be replaced).
My question is, is it possible to modify the new keyboard LEDs and put the blue ones in from my broken keyboard? Does anybody know how to do this or any good modding sites that might be able to help?
