I recently bought a G15 off Ocuk about 2 weeks ago, because of the great reviews and also the LCD screen! When i got it, there was some wierd oxidation on the metal logitech shield, which i kinda rubbed off (its still there though ). But that didnt really bother me at all, so i got gaming, using the LCD for fraps/performance monitor and Sirreal's panel, when i noticed how dim the LCD was. i thought initially the backlight was gone, but the keypad was still bright, and the brightness settings worked. I didnt seem to mind at the start, but its just getting dimmer and dimmer, and really hard to see. I mean, i spent close to £60 on a keyboard, so I'd kinda like the main feature to work!
This is what it looks like:

And that's REALLY close up!

Any ideas what to do?

Contact logitec via their web support. I had a wonky right button on my year old MX518 and a few emails later they sent me a replacement. They only wanted a pic of me taking a hammer to the old one too :)

Excellent support from them

Logitech have been great with me in the past, replaced 5.1 speakers and a g15 keyboard (blue backlight) with only a few quick questions asked via mail. Didn't have to return either item.

Logitech got back to me suggesting i get it replaced from the retailer D:
Thank you for contacting Logitech Customer Care.

I understand that you are having an issue with your G15 Gaming Keyboard. Kindly please unplug and re-plug your keyboard and if it is not going to work, I would suggest to go back to the point of purchase where you bought your keyboard and have it replace.
