Hi,
decided to open thread to this popular product, so all can share experience, maybe post pics of your setup, but mostly to SHARE YOUR SETTINGS: in game and in G25 Windows profile for games such as DIRT2, SHIFT, GRID, F1 2010, etc. :)

so far I can't say that I am very happy with my setting and want to play a bit to adjust for best gameplay! (will post little bit later)

I prefer using 720 degrees on my wheel, I've tried 900 and that's just a pain.

Any smaller than 720 I get over excited at parts and just make the car dance.

I've been looking at getting this wheel as Logitech have decided to stop production of the Driving Force GT for some strange reason.

Is it fully supported by Gran Turismo 5 yet?

Meh your weak, i use 200 degrees in most games.

It depends on the game for me but I'm often in the 200 degrees area for F1 2010 and such. Most other games I'll use 720 though as it adds a slight bit more realism.

Still trying to learn how to drift at 720..... I just can't do it! :p Never catch the wheel fast enough so my car just spins or I have the smallest of slides.

Question here about CLUTCH pedal: seems like it does not work in games such as GRID/ DIRT2 as gearbox works without clutch...or is there any special settings to make it work in game?

It's usually a problem with the game, well that it doesn't actually support clutches etc but I think with Dirt 2 you can edit one of the XML files? I'll do some googleing and report back!

Don't doesn't seem like its supported :( You can change some settings in the xml but it disables online play and doesn't work as a clutch...

In most sims, I leave it at 900 degrees rotation. Sims like iRacing and LFS automatically give you the correct rotation for the specific car, so you will get 900 or so for road cars, and 400 ish for F1 cars. In F1 2010, I use 400 degrees.

107% FFB gets rid of the slight deadzone in the center and makes it feel tons better.

Played about 2 hours now- GRID 3- enjoying so far: what's ya settings in game and g25 folks?

Thanks

Jumped from a g27 bought november last year, to a new one sent by logitech as a replacement a few weeks ago and found a hell of a difference between them. The new wheel actually feels heavier than the old one, the gear shifter springs back more... Was there a remake of the wheel or something?

I've had my G25 a few years now. Its mounted to a wheel stand pro which is ace if you don't have much space as it folds away nicely.

Mainly play iRacing and GTR2. But its worked flawlessly in all games I've played

Is it fully supported by Gran Turismo 5 yet?

Its not fully supported, you cant select the G2x wheels in the settings menu. Both wheels do work well in the game though. You just have to map buttons using the driving force pro.

Nice thread. Thinking about buying myself a g27 soon and definitely need some nice setups for games like F1!

Shame Forza isn't on the pc.

They are arcade games i've tried and enjoyed using the wheel.
