very tempting but having spent £1700 or so in the past couple of months on pc updrade and monitor, can't justify this(plus my mum will kill me) :)

yeah unforunately not having luck with work so not enough money to move out. she would know its new so will yell at me.

oh and having to pay £50 to get the asrock extreme7 gen3 motherboard fixed(ontop of the £210 I paid for it), do all the people in the rma department call customers liars over the phone? I called up to ask about my motherbard as got the email saying its warranty void due to bent pins, the guy said only way to do that damage is to drop something in it or touch the pins when i said I did neither he straight up said I was lying(and no I didn't take his name). oh and also gooling the issue I was having(ram slot 3&4 giving 45 error) is a common error and at times is caused by bent pins(also a common problem with the extreme4 gen3/extreme7 as far as I could make out reading people in different forums), when I tried to mention this the guy said I was lying about that as well

it was over 28 days since I ordered so I was told that the motherboard would be sent to asrock, but the guy I spoke to today said you don't deal directly with asrock. if that had been mentioned I'd have conntacted asrock myself and saved £35(£22 for your testing/returning) + the £13 it cost me to post it to you, as another person on this forum had the same problem(though with extreme4 gen3) and asrock have replaced it for him.

edit: actually seems it'll be £70(not £50) to get the extreme7 fixed as I misunderstood the cost of sending to asrock, ~£20 to send it to them plus £15(so £35 total) to cover the cost for them to send the replacement. at this rate I may as well stumped up the extr and got a maximus iv extreme or g1 sniper.
