easily the best racing wheel i have every used. superb force feedback.

I have tried loads of steering wheels out now and still regard this as the best. plus Logitech have superb customer service if anything ever goes wrong
 
If I had enough money to upgrade from my G25 I would, I imagine the extra buttons on the wheel are useful. I only got it few months back on MM (as an upgrade from the Logitech Driving Force GT) and it is wonderful to use on DiRT 3!!

P.S The banner at the top shows a G25 with only one button on each side, the G27 has 3 each side :p

Is there a time limit on this offer? Was thinking of getting the G27 when i'm back from holiday in a couple of weeks and this is sweetning the deal!

I've owned both and would stick with the G25 if its working fine for you. It's every bit as good as the G27 imo. The G25 has sequential gear shift which isn't available on the G27.
 
thats a pretty good price since you get the copy of dirt for free. if you're looking to get your first racing wheel then i couldnt recommend it more.

a couple of things missed off the description are that each pedal is weighted as it should be. the brake is the stiffest to press while the accelerator is pretty light and the clutch is somewhere in between.
also missed from the description is that, as well as your standard clamping system or carpet grip + rubber feet for the pedals, the wheel, gearbox and pedals have some screw holes in the base so that you can screw it into a playseat or something

cant you plug the G25 gearbox into the G27 wheel? i've never owned the G25 so i honestly dont know, but would have thought it would work.
from comparison videos i'd say that the G25 and G27 are pretty similar but the G27's wheel is a hell of a lot quieter because of the helical gears
 
If i get my redundancy pay,today being my last day of work,even though i'm off,lol,i will spring for one of these,and a new gpu,probably an nvidea 670 series card,my Logitech dfp has served me well,but one of the clamps snapped a couple of days ago,and its a good excuse to upgrade.
My good lady will flip.:D
