Logitech G3 Software

I have a Logitech G3, it's a bit old but I never change my mouses anyway, and I'm left handed so I stick with it

Thing is, the software that comes with it is fine but when I stop playing a game it keeps one core of my cpu running all the time, which is rubbish.

Does anyone know of any new software to fix this? Cheers

well have you tried a newer version of setpoint from the Logitech Website?

other than that, it ought to work fine without any drivers at all.
