Logitech G3

What are these like?

They look a bit like the Razer ones. Have Logitech teamed up woth Razer just like MS have?

I'm a bit concerned to how high the mouse looks. It looks really flat.

I didn't really get on with the Razer's when i had one. I'm just wondering how similar the G3 is to a Razer regarding the comfort in the hand.

The Logitech G3 is identical to the Logitech G1 & MX300 except it has extra side buttons. I've been using the Logitech MX300 for a few years and can say it's great. Totally different to the IE3.0 i also use in a way that it's a fingertip mouse rather than one where you rest your palm on the top.

I also bought the razor diamondback a while ago (on release) to replace this mouse and found it thinner & harder to get used to so i gave it to my sister.

Hasn't the G3 only got 1 side button. It has in the pics i've seen.

yup it has one side button cus some cs kiddies moaned that they always hit the second button accidentally during heavy frag sessions, however it backfired on logitech, and many are unhapy with the single button, me included, which is why im waiting for their next model (they have said itll probably come back on the next model)

I believe you can disable the button from their software
that's what I did with the back button on my G7
