logitech g35 mic interference?

I just noticed that when I put the boom mic up to the headphones i.e. when not in use, the mic causes some fairly audible static in the right speaker (mic is on left). Does this happen with anybody else's G35's and is there a fix?

didnt happen on mine but check the logitech forums as I believe its a common problem
